Prutah coins-barley stalk reliefs



This is a "Prutah" coin from the period of Agrippa I. 37-44 AD
On one side there are barley stalk and on the other side ancient writing
and Hupay Apirion which is a royal sign  



Based on this historic item, I created a serie of wall relief 25X25 cm approx. made of clay, brass, glass.
Metalsmithing technique, Mixed media art. Meaningful and charming!!
